Welcome
We are proud to be one of only three officially sanctioned IKA dojos that teaches Kokondo Karate and Jukido Jujitsu in California. The main goal at our dojo (training academy) is to teach our students Practical and Effective self-defense.
As you go through this web site, you will learn more about the two systems that comprise Kokondo. The strikes, hard blocks and kicks of Kokondo Karate and the throws, joint locks and chokes of Jukido Jujitsu. You will also learn more about our parent organization the International Kokondo Association (IKA), and our dojo here in Bakersfield.
We welcome anyone interested in joining our classes to drop in and observe anytime. Our certified instructors not only teach our classes but are able to run self-defense workshops and demos for various organizations.
